Making calendars

Making a calendar with Fotocodex

Step 1: Create your calendar project.

cal1
Select 'Calendar: 2008 Vertical Wall Calendar' from the project drop down menu.

Step 2: Organize your photo gallery and upload.

Enter into the photo gallery. Create categories if you like to organize the photos. Sometimes this helps when placing photos on the page.

cal2

We've created on category called "My photos"

cal3

Upload your files into the corresponding category by selecting the "Add photos" option next to the category name in the gallery. The photo upload manager will load. (See above picture.)

For PC users. Click on the woman to active the uploader in your browser.

Drag and drop your photos on to the woman.

cal4

You'll see an upload progress bar in the upper left corner of your screen. Sometimes it gets buried behind other screens.

You can continue to drag and drop photos on to the woman if you like.

Don't exit out of this screen until all uploads have completed! If you do exit before they complete nothing will be uploaded!

Step 4: Design your calendar.

The Fotocodex wall calendar looks like

What you will see in the page visualizer and the page editor will only be the top section. We'll add the months in when we send the order to the presses for printing.

Here's the page visualizer without any month's yet.

cal5

Designing a page in the editor. Just click on a template in the column on the left. Drag and drop your photos from above onto the template.
