Scope of application.- This security policy applies to any and all personal data collected by means of the www.fotocodex.co.uk website, whether pertaining to the users who visit the site, those who register with the News Bulletin or those who effectively contract the services offered by the website. In any case, this security policy refers to all such individuals under the generic term “Users”, and states that Fotocodex, S.L., hereinafter referred to as the “Service Provider”, is responsible for the treatment of the corresponding data file.

Information for Users regarding the existence of a file, and request for authorisation of the automated treatment of their data: In relation to the personal data provided by Users through the forms available at this website, the Service Provider fully complies with the current regulations set forth by Organic Law 15/1999, of 13
December, on the Protection of Personal Data and the other relevant legislation. The Service Provider moreover informs the Users that the aforementioned data will be incorporated into a file which it holds, for automated treatment thereof. The Users’ submission of their personal data automatically implies their consent to such treatment.

Purpose of treatment: The personal data provided by the Users will be processed by the Service Provider in order to provide the services requested and for the possible invoicing of such services, as well as to periodically provide the Users with commercial and promotional information by means of the News Bulletin, albeit solely with the Users’ express consent. In any case, the data collected and processed by the Service Provider are limited to the basic information necessary for the aforementioned purposes.   

Communication of Data: Data will be shared solely in cases in which the Users group themselves into communities, authorising their personal data to be accessible to the other members of their community, and will be subject to the limitations of use set forth in the General Terms and Conditions posted on the website.

Required data entry: All fields marked with an asterisk* must be filled in. Without such information, it will be impossible to provide the specific service requested.  

Rights to access, rectification, cancellation and opposition: All Users who enter their personal data on the different forms may at any time exercise their rights to access, rectification, cancellation and opposition regarding such data, by sending a written request by post to Fotocodex, S.L., with address at Calle Francesc Pérez Cabrero, 11B, postal code 08021 in Barcelona. Such notification must include a copy of the National Identity Card or National Tax Identification Code Number of the holder of such data. The Service Provider hereby reaffirms its commitment to uphold respect and absolute confidentiality in its collection and treatment of the Users’ personal data, and undertakes not to transfer such data to third parties without the previous consent of the owners thereof, notwithstanding the exception set forth in this Data Protection Policy and the exceptions envisaged in the applicable legislation.  
     
Security.- The Service Provider hereby guarantees the absolute confidentiality and secrecy of the personal data collected, and for such purpose has taken the necessary technical and organizational security measures to prevent their alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorised access, and thus guarantees their integrity and security. In particular, the Service Provider has adopted the measures set forth in Royal Decree 994/1999, of 11 June, which approves the Regulation of Security Measures for automated personal data files. The Service Provider will not be liable under any circumstance for any incidents relating to personal data that might arise from an attack or unauthorised access to the systems in such manner that it is impossible to detect by means of the security measures adopted, or if such occurrence is due to the Users’ negligence in the protection and custody of their own passwords or personal data.  

Accuracy of data.- The Users are responsible for the accuracy of their data, undertaking not to enter any false data, and shall make any necessary modifications thereto.
